my mother likes to say that whenever one is without the creature comforts of home - LIKE AC! so i was sweaty and DiSgUsTiNg and took a cool shower and finished off with a blast of icy water that made my breath catch. that was at least 20 minutes ago. so of course even my stomach is sweaty again. (why does stomach sweat gross me out so?) i'm going to lay in bed with the fan blowing on me looking like the polar bear at the san diego zoo in august.

Does your apartment on have heat?
Man, I need to slow down when I type. Here we go again: Does your apartment (only) have heat? (and thus does it not have AC) or is the AC just broken, or are you trying to save money, or has the power grid in CT shorted out b/c of the heat wave?
hahahahah... we just have heat. and a LOT of fans... and the power's flickered a couple times, but not gone out yet. it has elsewhere though - maybe new haven has two many poor students for there to be a problem with running the AC overtime...
