my new monitor came today. dad had warned me that since they don't make the one i had anymore, i'd probably get a different one. i was a little disappointed, but whatever, at least it won't be broken right? so, it's not the same one, it's the 19 inch instead of the 18 and i'm typing this from a good 3 feet away - i had to push it further from me so i could see the whole screen at once. this sucker is huge and practically clearer than real life. i went back through some of my old favorite photos and set them each to desktop just so i could see them *that* big... (then i went back to the one i had on there before; i feel that's very important to tell you now hahahaha) so from now on, i'll probably be watching dvds on my computer, instead of my tv, because the picture's so much better - despite my screen being a good 5 feet further from my bed than my tv is. a-maz-ing.
anyway, enough about me and my fabulous computer. i sooooooo miss 5 guys fridays today :( not only is it alex's birthday tomorrow(!) but my girls make me homesick (in the best way)... i'll just have to find a way to keep my caboose ghetto-tastic without all the 5 guys grease.

Speaking of your computer screens, we are still picking over the remnants of your corpse... Brian has your old monitor and I just nabbed your "new" one. They finally consented to let me have a flat-screen and I hooked yours up today. Actually it isn't yours anymore, it's MINE. And it is much much MUCH clearer! So how many years of whining did that take?
