so i'm taking this french class.
and not only do i want to know what to say in which situations, but also how it's related to the spanish and the latin, when it diverged from each, how to spell it (because i can't say it until it's written down), and all the while i'm thinking about why a french person's tongue says "i, en," and "u" like an american's tongue says "an, on" and "eh" and i'm pretty sure it has something to do with what sean has a masters in.
so i figured, the only thing to do was go to b&n and buy a book. so i spent $15 on 501 french verbs (it's spanish counterpart being my favorite language toolbook ever) - and i'm pretty sure it's the best value i've gotten for $15 in a long while... or at least it will be, once i open it.

oh yeah, i also bought a yoga mat carry strap - probably not the best value for $10 ever, but no purchase angst, so apparently it was worth it. besides, it's pink.
Why on EARTH are you learning french? Froggish frivolity!
because if i wanna run the world (yes) i have to do it from geneva or nairobi. :)
