something awesome happened today.

at the nursery this morning we had to jump start the truck, and while we were leaving it running to charge the battery it ran out of gas, and when chris was driving it to the shop for us, it died in the middle of Rte 80 with 7 trees on it, and when the tow truck came and took it away, we picked up the ford (which had been in the shop for 3 months) and drove it to get gas (it was on E) but the gas card had been stolen (happens all the time) so i paid for gas and pumped it into the tank but the meter didn't change once i turned the truck back on so we called chris who asked which tank we put it in because one has a hole in the line that they were supposed to seal off while it was at the shop but didn't. and when i dropped meg off at home, i tried the emergency break which also didn't work so i called chris, who came and drove the ford to back to the shop where we left the other one earlier and then chris drove me home - i had to sit in the back of course, because chris has piles of stuff all over the place. we also cleared out some trash from his backseat, which scared him a lot, but we really only took out his girls' juice boxes and his old coffee cups with rotting apple cores in them.

then i came home and checked my email and found out that i am a presidential management fellow :) YAY!
