now that i have a job, it is both insanely easier and ridiculously harder to do work leading up to graduation. i'll leave the details of this dichotomy to your imagination.
suffice it to say that i have 1 paper, 1 exam, and 1 masters project to work on and finish before they will let me leave. i am, amazingly enough, largely done with the one paper: the longleaf pine ecosystem and its future management for potential sustainability certification.
the exam i'm not really worried about; after all, i already have a job and it's more of a "listen, absorb, process" kind of class than a "listen, remember, regurgitate" kind of class. which is great, because i hate regurgitation.
finally, my masters project. largely undone, but luckily, plenty of time remains before its actual due date. my goal is to turn in a draft to marjorie (my prof) on may 9th, in time to go camping with all my friends for the weekend, and then return for a two-day, edit-mania blow-out before i hand in a final. we'll see, i'm not that great at rough drafts: i tend to polish an inferior product for just a bit too long...
due dates - each wednesday until i go to va to look for an apt:
paper - 30 april
exam - 7 may
masters project - 14 may
