yesterday i ran in a tank top - i think it was in the upper 30s, maybe even lower 40s... steamy. but the sun was out, so even when it's cold it feels warm because it's not GREY. everything's grey. all the time. so the minute it's not grey - sleeveless!
the snow helps. at least it brightens up the dirty streets a bit, and i've discovered walking becomes an ab workout when you might fall down at any moment.
i drink so much tea that i couldn't stomach any more today and am now drinking just hot water with lemon juice - surprisingly satisfying and refreshing. chris said he got a good picture kim and i laughing at the sky this morning - so i'll try to get it from him soon...
in the meantime this is my crazy friend darcy and part of my face, as we get ready to go outside. darcy was making fun of me she's from alaska.

I think that when the temperature around here (beautiful, sunny, SC) hits 31 degrees, we declare a "sleeve emergency," since few of us own very much that isn't short-sleeved.
We close down schools, churches and offices so we can run out and buy long-sleeved clothes.
Of course, once we get to the mall, we discover that the "new spring arrivals" are the only things in the stores.
This means no long-sleeved clothes, no jackets, no sweaters, no winter clothing of any kind is actually available for anyone to buy during the winer season.
We'll repeat the cycle next year, which is likely the next time that the temperature will drop. ;-)
Glad to see that you've planned ahead for winter wear.
