apparently it's pretty common to have pre-triathlon dreams. so my first one was last night... it's pretty disturbing; are you ready?
i'm with a group of friends standing on the edge of a lake (yes, my 1/2 mile swim is in a lake) and i can see under the water (EEK. freaks me out.) and at the bottom of this huge slope in the lake are 2 dead bodies.
yah, dead bodies. i know i'm a freak. but now you understand just how much lakes FREAK ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate lakes! there's a reason for tides! they clean everything out!! including dead bodies!!!
do you know just how much effort it's going to take for me not only to swim 1/2 a mile at 7 in the morning after an hour and a half drive and prior to the bike and run, but also to AVOID looking down for dead bodies, panicking, hyperventilating, and drowning?
i could use some better dreams this week to replace that image. so gimme some prayers okay? cuz... ew.

I think you're probably pretty safe on the not-seeing-dead-bodies front, if for no other reason than that it is difficult to see the bottom of any lake anyway (limited water clarity). Well, that and there probably AREN'T any.
Prayers in your direction! Sweet dreams.
hon, when are you doing the triathlon? which one?
