my living room windows, which face west, usually allow a lovely afternoon glow into the apartment, but now that the earth is so far away from the beloved sun, it is my bedroom windows, facing south, that get almost a direct shot of sunset, which is lovely, except that it's happening right now, at 3:30 in the bloody afternoon. why do people live here?
