whoa.

it's been a while. and a whirlwind.

thanks for having patience with me, my internet's been out... but i'm alive! so yea.
yale-myers was cool. honestly, not as fun as great mountain, but i learned more so that's good. i think great mountain, because it was my first bonding experience with 45 people, is just automatically at the top of the heap. but whatever.
i now know about 70 people instead of just 45. i can't believe how quickly these people have become my family. people who, a week ago, i was a little leary of and who, two weeks ago, i didn't know existed i would now trust with my life. these people would do anything for me, and vice versa. it's like a secret command that we automatically have come to live by: "FESers, become one."
tomorrow starts mod 3 and i'm staying in town to learn some plant id and sleep in my own bed. i'll miss the camping, but at least i'll get to see my roommates for the first time in two weeks. yea!
friday i'm going to walpole to stay with nancy and kevin and "the boys" and see gram and papa so pray for safe travels for us all.
remind me to tell you about the nun i met at st. patrick's while i was in ny last weekend - i might go to africa next summer.
