guess i just had to mention it again - because i got my letter today and stamped my acceptance to their acceptance and my deposit just now to mail tomorrow. it's beginning to feel real... i start summer mods on the 13th of august and class on september 6th. it's funny really, applying to grad school is very much a game of feined disinterest:
school advertises/wines-and-dines: "do you want to come over?"
student attends wine-and-dine: "i don't know, do you want me to come over?"
school convinces student to want to come over: "if you want to, i guess."
student applies: "well, i don't want to unless you want me to."
school accepts application: "okay, come over. will you?"
student accepts acceptance: "sure, i'll come over... since you want me to."
y'all, please pray for me, that i make the most of this opportunity and that i keep my heart open, open, open to God's will.
