well, i'm kind of back to the blogging world. i'm in beaufort with my parents and finally interneting at my dad's desk while his leg goes back and forth up and down in his cpm machine. mom won't leave anything alone for a second. especially people when they are feeling particularly peaceful or disconnected from things, and especially when they want to be somewhat disconnected or peaceful for a moment. i know why and i'm okay with it and i suspect that i will be very much like that when i am in her position and i also suspect that people who know me very well are laughing because i am already very much like that now.
she calls me florence's assistant because whenever there is a phone call or visitor she doesn't want to deal with - i do. apparently i'm good at it - or else i'm just the only one to do it - because it seems to be continuous. i also feel more helpful than i have before. partly because i'm not distracted with school and other intellectual pursuits. i feel more domestic and more peaceful that i... ever have. when i'm not needed, i do something i want to do. when i am needed i drop what i'm doing to do something else.
oh. my dad's last nurses at the hospital: jemyma and sheniqua. i love the south.
