if that doesn't make you smile... too bad.
i laughed all the way home tonight after a delightful dinner of not-exactly-what-i-wanted and some delectable conversation. and i don't mean smiling and occasionally letting out a little sputter; i mean head thrown back. cheeks hurting. guffawing. laughter. i'm lucky i made it home. i'm not sure if it was the bumper sticker i read on the car in front of mine or the fact that i had someone to call and report to regarding it. someone i knew would see it the way i did.
but then, maybe it wasn't the bumper sticker or the debriefing - it might have been the delicious and unexpected compliment i received just before the spotting of said slogan. it's enough to make even an overacheiving procrastinator treat herself to an early snooze - but not 'til she's read her nerdy romance novel. long live nerds in shining armor.
