good day.

i had a great day at home - i'm not sure how long it's been since that's happened. don't get me wrong, i love seeing my parents and my dear sweet darling beaufort, but it's hard to have a *great* day... i'm usually thinking of somewhere else i want to be. but today i wasn't and that meant that even though i was doing things i didn't really want to be doing, like hanging out the store while my parents waited on customers, occasionally shoplifting this or that from inventory, or grocery shopping (not shoplifting this or that), i was happy to be there, enjoying my life, because this is it. here it is. the one and only.

did i mention that my neighborhood is a wildlife refuge?

i also forgot to bring my camera home. which means i got to see the sun set over high tide.
